  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Work with our staff to ensure that our customers receive a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
