Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GOLDEN HUSKY TRAVEL CENTRE. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 32 hours per week.

- Support for Youths: We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: We provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
