Job Description

As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be the voice behind our cause. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Researching and crafting press releases to effectively convey our mission
  2. Identifying new opportunities through advertising partnerships and other relevant areas
  3. Designing innovative print marketing materials
  4. Collaborating with the Communications Assistant to create engaging blogs and website stories
  5. Managing the coordination of our website and ensuring it is properly updated and organized
  6. Developing internal and external digital newsletters targeting diverse audiences and encouraging engagement
  7. Overseeing and managing editorial calendars and promotional materials as necessary
  8. Assisting managers in disseminating impactful messages
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent work experience and education
  2. 3-5 years of experience in public relations and marketing
  3. 3 years of experience in communications
  4. 2 years of experience in social media management
  5. Microsoft suite proficiency
  6. Excellent written, design, media relations, and digital marketing skills
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  8. Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  9. An incredibly keen and self-motivated attitude
  10. Valid Class G Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
