Job Summary:

The IMP Group is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at our Main Operating Base in Trenton, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing First, Second, and Third Level repairs on aircraft structural components and ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess damage and control corrosion on aircraft structures and structural components
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and replacements using recognized techniques and specialized tools and equipment
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance trade and personnel skills
  • Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by sweeping and cleaning hangar, shop, stores, and office areas
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program
  • Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) "S" license or equivalent commercial experience
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft structures, inspection techniques, damage assessment, and aircraft materials and hardware
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including maintenance manuals and work packages
  • Proficiency in standard computer programs and specialized tools and equipment
  • Qualifications in CT114 Tutor aircraft and MRA
  • Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Secret Level II Security Clearance
