Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician

At IMP Aerospace & Defence, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing First, Second, and Third Level repairs on aircraft structural components and ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess damage and control corrosion on aircraft structures and structural components
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and replacements using recognized techniques and specialized tools and equipment
  • Conduct pre/post flight inspections and support, including ramp duties and travel with mobile repair parties
  • Attend training for trade and personnel development, and for qualification/certification purposes
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area, adhering to policies, procedures, and directives established by the Company
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program, with a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) "S" license or equivalent commercial experience
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft structures and structural components, inspection techniques, damage assessment, aircraft materials and hardware, use of special tools and equipment, and corrosion control techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, work packages, drawings, blueprints, and Standard Plant Procedures
  • Proficiency in standard computer programs and specialized ones as necessary
  • Ability to drive vehicles and tow tractors
  • Qualification on CT114 Tutor aircraft with Aircraft Certification Authority for Aircraft Structures and/or Shop Certification Authority for Off-Aircraft tasks
  • MRA qualified, or ability to achieve such qualifications in short notice
  • Personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies
