We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Billing and Documents Coordinator to join our team at Southwood Medical Clinic. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for managing our medical billing and records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.
Responsibilities- Manage medical billing and accounts, including processing payments and handling insurance claims.
- Coordinate the scanning and storage of medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of patient charts and medical records for review and analysis.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping, to support the smooth operation of our clinic.
- Collaborate with our medical staff to ensure accurate and timely billing and record-keeping.
- Post-secondary certificate or equivalent training in medical administration or a related field.
- Working knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a medical billing or records role.
This is a part-time position, with the possibility of full-time hours depending on the needs of the clinic. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
The starting wage for this position is $21-23 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth within the clinic.
