Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Seasonal Equipment Operator to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to maintain and repair highways, roads, and other surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate snow removal and sanding equipment, including salting and other seasonal maintenance on roads, bridges, and other surfaces.
  • Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces, including signs, guardrails, fences, lighting, potholes, striping, and reflectors.
  • Perform litter and debris removal, and set up and remove traffic control devices as required.
  • Transport crew and equipment to work sites, and be available for emergency response rotations as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years related work experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industrial repair, or operating equipment.
Work Environment

The employee will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.
