Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Toorz Transport Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, and loaders to perform various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment as required.
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to stay in touch with team members.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work on various construction sites, operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
