Job Summary
The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide technical and administrative support to our pharmacists in the delivery of pharmaceutical care and services.

Main Responsibilities
• Support pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to patients
• Initiate medication reconciliation (MedRec)
• Collaborate on pharmacy inventory management
• Plan the orientation of technical staff and integrate trainees into the department
• Develop and distribute technical work procedures, job descriptions, and work tools
• Participate in the updating of the pharmacy supply system database when a new purchase contract or its modifications are made
• Communicate with members of the GAC (centralized purchasing group) regarding drug supply shortages and participate in relevant meetings

Education and Language Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in pharmacy technology from a school recognized by the appropriate ministry. Fluency in English and French is required; fluency in Cree is an asset.
