Job Description:

At Sandford Company, we're seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tenders and quotations, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints. You will also apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster, clean and prepare surfaces, and fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare tenders and quotations for drywall installation projects
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
• Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids

Work Setting:
This is a permanent position working in a commercial, industrial, and residential setting. The work environment will involve working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Requirements:
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
