Your role on our team: Our procurement and contracts team is looking for an experienced individual who has had at least 5 years experience in the procurement world working with various types of service contracts. This role is integral to the happiness of our tenants on site during all seasons to ensure that we have the correct maintenance and service contracts in place.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for managing the tender process of RFPs according to established company policies, procedures and legal templates to ensure optimal results. RFP's are prepared for services required by the sites across the country. Negotiations, for example will include: Snow & Landscaping, Pest Control, HVAC, Life Safety Contracts.
  • Assist in the drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of service contracts and revenue generating contracts
  • Oversees and manages the bid evaluation, analysis and recommendations
  • Administer contracts and amendments to contracts according to organizational needs, changing markets and legislative codes and standards.
  • Manages the relationship with Suppliers keeping track of performance, negotiated discounts, and performance assessments to ensure compliance
  • Conduct supplier and product/service research according to business objectives and standards to ensure value add for Minto Properties.
  • Perform cost analysis to identify areas of opportunity to reduce cost and maximize revenues.
  • Generate comprehensive reports that provide savings results and status on various KPI's, and assigned projects.
  • Ability to create PR's in Yardi for contract creation.
  • Analyze and review team members' tasks to ensure accuracy and high quality while providing valuable feedback
  • Lead a team of employees, fostering collaboration and maximizing productivity
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

  • Minimum 5 years in a Procurement role working in the Real Estate market or equivalent.
  • BAB - E Business Supply Chain Management degree will be considered and asset
  • Knowledge and experience in Yardi/ERP system
  • Extensive experience in contractual agreements
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and perform your role to complete the job requirements
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Focused on ownership of roles and responsibilities.
  • Good analytical skills and problem solving.
  • Team Player
  • Relationship builder with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal and written).
  • College Diploma or University Degree in relate field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
