Job Title: Office Coordinator, Clinical Prevention Services

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our team at the BC Centre for Disease Control. As an Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our TB clinic and satellite clinics, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate clerical and administrative support activities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the TB clinic and satellite clinics
  • Supervise clerical staff and provide guidance and feedback
  • Develop and implement worksite policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control expenses and determine resource requirements
  • Execute project work such as clinic renovations and repairs
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of systems information and paper records
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as screening and prioritizing incoming materials

Requirements:

  • Grade 12, supplemented by a recognized diploma in Business Administration
  • Five years of recent, related experience including two years supervisory experience
  • Ability to supervise, plan, organize, and prioritize
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and experience completing financial transactions
  • Ability to operate related office equipment and software
