Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
- Documentation: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Experience: Experience an asset.
This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to travel for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
