Heavy Truck Driver

United City Cartage Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy truck to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload goods from the truck
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with central dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Valid passport
- Criminal record check
- Driver's validity licence check
- Driving record check (abstract)
