Job Summary

We're seeking a Bilingual Account Associate to join our Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Account Executives to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives. You'll represent Medavie Blue Cross' portfolio of Individual products/services, upholding company standards while ensuring the needs and expectations of our accounts are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to meet sales targets and strategic objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales pipeline to ensure missing information is received in a timely manner.
  • Handle escalations, complex service requests, and inquiries, ensuring proper communication and timely resolution.
  • Complete reports for Account Executives and Brokers.
  • Foster and maintain ongoing relationships through daily support of Brokers, recognizing issues that require Account Executive intervention.
  • Review processes, develop tools, plan events, and liaise with Marketing to curate materials.
  • Represent the Broker community internally and work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure superior service and product offering to our assigned accounts.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
  • Provincial Life, Accident & Sickness license required upon hire, or nearing completion.
  • Skilled in developing and nurturing client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Outstanding active listening skills.
  • A strong work ethic and high levels of initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
  • GBA or CEBS designation and/or other industry courses would be considered an asset.
