About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide exceptional customer service as a Post Office Assistant at Canada Post Corp.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals, utilizing a customer-focused approach.
  • Process mail into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of issues.
  • Provide customers with information and forms, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Resolve delivery and service difficulties thoroughly and quickly, maintaining a positive experience for customers.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with experience in business administration.
  • Training or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
  • An understanding of general accounting systems, including those specific to the post office.
  • Physical fitness to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 pounds, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work temporarily on-call, as needed.
