Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Trade Management Specialist to join our team at Advantage Sales and Marketing LLC.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer business plans, deduction processing, sales forecasts, pricing, promotion plans, trade spend expenditures, long leads, and deduction management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain accurate customer plans within the Trade system.
  • Create one plan per Brand, execute ongoing updates to plans per SPM / CDM instructions, identify baseline forecast variances, closing deals, updating promotions and long leads.
  • Manage claims, deduction, and reconciliation processes by following client policies and procedures to meet monthly goals.
  • Identify deduction validation issues and work with SPM / CDM to resolve.
  • Maintain audit compliant files and documentation.
  • Reporting and balancing of cleared and open deductions for financial reporting requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-5 years administrative/planning experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly; must have the ability to build Excel templates/spreadsheets from scratch using Pivot Tables and V lookups.
  • Excellent organization, math, and analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency in Computer Software to include: MS Windows, Spreadsheet (MS Excel), Word-processing (MS Word), Computer Graphics (PowerPoint).
