Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Coordinator to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide advice and guidance to business stakeholders on security best practices and procedures.
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve security issues.
  • Support the execution of strategic security initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor and track security performance metrics and address any issues.
  • Lead or participate in change management activities to ensure smooth implementation of security initiatives.
  • Provide input to the security program strategy by analyzing current operations and challenges.
  • Support the investigation, analysis, and documentation of security risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on security objectives.
Requirements
  • Typically, between 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of technology infrastructure and application security principles, best practices, and scanning methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment and cultivate relationships with application, infrastructure, and governance teams.
  • Strong risk management skills and ability to analyze and interpret various controls and risk assessments.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and data-driven decision-making skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $54,000 to $101,500 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. Our total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards. We also offer health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
