Job Summary:

The District of Saanich is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Assistant Lifeguards. As an Assistant Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while promoting a fun and enjoyable recreational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supplemental supervision of activities in the water
• Assist in emergency situations under the direction of a lifeguard or team leader
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive experience for patrons

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 15 years old
• Bronze Cross certification (current within 2 years)
• Current Standard First Aid / CPRC (SFA/CPR-C) award
• Employment is subject to provision of a satisfactory police information check with vulnerable sector check (PIC-VS)
