We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineering Lead to join the IFIaaS team. This key role will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies for our wide array of components including web services, application servers, and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing, deployment and monitoring of IFI applications and infrastructure.
  2. Architect and maintain scalable, secure and highly available hybrid cloud infrastructure utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC).
  3. Develop and maintain provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and other similar technologies.
  4. Collaborate with development, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices to support IFI operations.
  5. Implement and support a hybrid cloud environment in Microsoft Azure and on-premise.
  6. Contribute, leading when assigned, the design and deployment of IFIaaS service initiatives.
  7. Ultimately responsible for IFIaaS application reliability, maintenance, and upgrades.
  8. Contribute to service operations center focusing on proactively analyzing data within toolset to ensure uptime and quality of service.
  9. Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations.
  10. Implement system enhancements (software) and automation opportunities to improve performance and reliability of the IFIaaS solution.
  11. Manage activities with complete integrity and in accordance with the organization's policies, systems, practices, and programs.
  12. Provide escalation assistance as required to resolve any technology stack related issues that may arise.
  13. Perform incident analysis and problem resolution.
  14. Perform data analysis to measure quality of service and proper scalability of the system.
  15. Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
  16. Working with Networking CoE team to create and implement network security measures.
  17. Coaching and mentoring junior engineering staff.
  18. Conducting regular network performance tests.
  19. Scope Epics, User stories and support with weekly sprint planning.
  20. Dealing with escalated application support issues.
  21. Contribute to the operations support model to support requests and participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and off-hours maintenance windows as assigned.
  22. Other duties and project as required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. 7+ years of experience in IT deployments.
  3. Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
  4. Experience working with enterprise level micro-services applications, including deployment and maintenance of the applications in distributed environments.
  5. Extensive hands-on experience of DevOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Octopus deploy, etc.) networks, network security, high-level managerial skills.

About the Role:

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, architecture, and DevOps practices, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
