Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher Helper

École Vision Saint-Augustin is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Teacher Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kindergarten staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:
  • Activity Planning and Organization: Assist the teacher in planning and organizing activities for the kindergarten class, ensuring a well-rounded and stimulating curriculum.
  • Child Development and Engagement: Help children participate in activities that promote their affective, sensory/motor, social, cognitive, and language development.
  • Classroom Management: Assist with organizing the class and preparing materials, maintaining a tidy and organized learning space.
  • Supervision: Supervise lunch and recesses, ensuring the children's safety and well-being.
  • Daycare Services: Supervise morning and after-school daycare services, providing a secure and engaging environment for children.
  • Work Schedule: Work a full-time (35h/week) or part-time (25-30h/week) schedule, depending on the needs of the school.
  • Requirements: Experience working with young children, excellent English language skills, basic knowledge of French, and a dynamic and resourceful personality with strong teamwork skills.
