HVAC Controls Service Technician

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in installing, commissioning, and servicing building controls and facilities management systems. As an HVAC Controls Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing control systems malfunctions with knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
- Managing assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
- Communicating with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Adhering to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, providing safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.
- Conducting extensive self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Vocational School graduate or an Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field.
- Ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
- Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Experience understanding computer programming and software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
We welcome candidates with experience in:
- Johnson Controls current and legacy control products and systems.
- Three to Five years of increasingly responsible experience in installing and/or servicing electronic control and HVAC equipment.
- Experience in writing computer programs and software application specifically for HVAC Controls Programming.
