IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at NWVL in Fiji. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT support and experience with storage area networks and network attached storage appliances. A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and recommend solutions for improving system performance and efficiency
• Implement and manage hardware, operating systems, and applications
• Develop and enforce security policies to protect against cyber threats
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and develop remediation strategies
• Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server, and storage systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Valid Full drivers' license
• Strong understanding of Virtualization, Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
