We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant and Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at The Mason Group Inc.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our Director of Finance, providing strategic decision support and helping drive the future direction and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the preparation and review of financial reports and statements
  • To provide technical accounting advice and support to the finance team
  • To identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • To collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role
  • Must be a Canadian CPA designation holder
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and analytical mindset required
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS, ASPE or PSA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively and respectfully at all levels within a diverse work group

About the Opportunity:

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
