About the Role:
The Regional IT Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the regional IT infrastructure, providing top-notch support to end-users, and maintaining the highest level of technical expertise. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple locations and users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for IT services, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum user satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to ensure successful deployment of software and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform equipment repair and replacement as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Relevant associate degree and certification in a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on IT systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent understanding of IT best practices and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, including Office 365, OneDrive, and Windows 10.
- Experience working with hardware, including laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Ability to administer and set up domains, group policy, and users in Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to other locations as needed, with a valid driver's license.
Work Environment:
This role will primarily work in an office environment, with occasional visits to plant locations. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
