About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wastewater Treatment Specialist to join our team at ONETWO STOP PORTABLE SANITATION INC. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain cleaning machines and equipment to ensure efficient and effective wastewater treatment.
  • Clean and maintain building exteriors, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as industrial vacuum cleaners and power sweepers, to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor safety conditions and maintain equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the development of standards and health and safety measures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Apply chemicals and cleaning solutions to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform light cleaning duties, such as cleaning machines and equipment, to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment and sanitation.
  • High school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors in wet and damp conditions, with exposure to heavy equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads, with a minimum weight of 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physical demands.
