Job Summary

As a Geotechnical Engineer - Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects, managing costs and timelines, and ensuring project profitability. You will plan, monitor, and carry out geotechnical studies, including drilling and exploration, soil sampling, and in-situ testing. You will also coordinate and review technical work, participate in site inspections, and provide clients with project updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical projects, including cost and timing management, quality control, and project profitability;
  • Plan, monitor, and carry out geotechnical studies, including drilling and exploration, soil sampling, and in-situ testing;
  • Coordinate and review technical work, including site inspections and project updates;
  • Participate in the design, development, and inspection of geotechnical projects;
  • Supervise site inspectors and carry out technical, financial, and administrative project follow-up;
  • Provide clients with project updates and challenges;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in the preparation of offers of professional services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering;
  • 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including 3 years in an engineering firm;
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO);
  • Valid driver's license.
