The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality instructional materials for pre-service teacher education programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and inclusive instructional strategies for science and technology education;
  • Create engaging learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills;
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and deliver courses that meet the needs of pre-service teachers;
  • Ensure that instructional materials are aligned with curriculum standards and pedagogical best practices;
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback from stakeholders to inform instructional design decisions;
  • Maintain accurate records of instructional design processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in education or a related field is required;
  • A Bachelor's degree in science or technology is also required;
  • A proven track record of instructional design experience in a higher education setting is essential;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills are necessary to coordinate with faculty members and other stakeholders.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location

This role is based at Ontario Tech University's campus in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
