Winter Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Winter Supervisor of Maintenance to join our Highway Operations Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising snow and ice control activities, ensuring the effective use of equipment and resources, and providing direction and technical support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise snow and ice control activities, including planning and coordination of routes, staffing, equipment assignments, and repair
- Monitor and maintain department levels of service, ensuring that our roads and highways are safe and accessible
- Provide technical support and direction to staff, including conducting preliminary site investigations, preparing cost estimates, and inspecting maintenance contracts
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma and 4 years of related experience, including 2 years in snow and ice control services
- A Civil Engineering Technology Diploma and 2 years of experience in snow and ice control services
- An acceptable equivalent of education, training, and experience
