Raise is seeking a highly skilled Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst to join our team. As an Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our clients' financial transactions and identifying potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct complex EDD reviews for high-risk customers, including periodic reviews, court orders, and referrals from financial crimes teams.
- Collect, assess, and collate case file information for investigations, including the determination of unusual and/or suspicious activities for regulatory reporting.
- Conduct data analysis, manipulation, and interpretation to identify patterns and anomalies.
- Perform enhanced due diligence activities, such as open-source searches, negative media, and name screening.
- Identify red flags and RGS indicators or unusual patterns of activity that may be indicative of predicate offense/criminal activity.
- Complete detailed case review reports and regulatory filing narratives to be submitted to regulators.
- Prepare case documentation as per client procedures.
- 2-3 years of Financial Services Industry experience.
- Experience in compliance and financial crimes roles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking acumen, with the ability to work with ambiguity and minimal guidance.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or other recognized AML/Financial Crimes certifications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of industry common screening and transaction monitoring tools.
- Experience managing alerts and navigating investigation processes/programs in a Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) environment.
