Operational Due Diligence Expert

iCapital is seeking a seasoned Operational Due Diligence Expert to join the iCapital Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of operational risks, internal controls, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive operational due diligence on investment opportunities, including site visits, interviews, and detailed analysis of operational processes.
- Assess external fund managers, focusing on private equity, private credit, and real assets.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks associated with potential and existing investments.
- Monitor the operational performance of portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with established standards and identifying emerging risks.
- Collaborate with investment teams, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to due diligence and risk management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in operational due diligence and risk management.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in operational due diligence, risk management, internal audit, or a related field within the investment industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
