Field Technician - Refrigeration

Are you a skilled technician looking for a new challenge? Action Restaurant Services Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Technician to join our team.

About the Role

We are a leading Canadian-owned foodservice repair and installation company serving Southern Ontario for over 40 years. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer service calls and performing routine and preventative maintenance or installations as required.
  • Diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment.
  • Inspecting commercial kitchen, bakery equipment, and related components to ensure safe operation.
  • Ability to work alone, maintain a personal schedule, and communicate with customers.
  • Maintaining current vehicle inventory, cleanliness, and maintenance of Company service vehicle.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of field experience in commercial food equipment refrigeration.
  • Gas fitter 2 would be an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with demonstrated diagnostic ability.
  • Good oral communication and customer skills.
  • Available for some overtime and occasional weekend call-out duties.
  • Comfortable with current software and computer programs.
  • CFESA training or prepared to attend local or out-of-town factory training.
