Job Summary

The Case Specialist role at IDC Worldsource Insurance Network Inc. is a critical position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Case Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to Advisors and facilitating the settlement of new business in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing new insurance business applications, including reviewing and communicating with carriers to ensure timely approval and settlement.
  • Managing detailed information on WealthServ for efficient tracking and measurement of business and processing performance.
  • Assisting Advisors in ordering medical requirements and managing the new business email inbox.
  • Processing In Force policy service requests and communicating updates to Advisors.
  • Fielding Advisor inquiries regarding policy service issues and adhering to service level standards.
Other Responsibilities
  • Communicating with the Department Head regarding internal and external issues.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Handling minimal incoming and outgoing mail for in-house advisors.
Job Specifications
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Completion of LOMA courses (i.e. FLMI, ACS) considered an asset.
  • 3 years+ experience working in a customer service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows 10/11.
  • Experience with WealthServ an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and individually.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to multi task and process in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Strong problem solving abilities.
  • Bilingualism considered an asset.
Compensation

Commensurate with experience.
