Delivery Team Lead

Trident Distributors Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Person Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery personnel, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of merchandise to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are properly assigned to duties and tasks.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Authorize Payments: Approve payments by cheque, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are delivered on time.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for delivery personnel, ensuring that they are fair, reasonable, and meet the needs of the business.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring that they are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Organize Inventory: Supervise the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and that products are stored safely.
- Supervise Workers: Oversee the activities of delivery personnel, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Permanent position
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- Work Language: English
