We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Affordable Mattress & Furniture. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure effective task delegation
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet our high standards
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve store goals
- Experience in retail management or a related field is an asset
- Ability to provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
- Knowledge of cultural competency and awareness training to support Indigenous employees
- Permanent employment opportunity

- 30-40 hours of work per week
