Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Hands at Play. This role involves developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the well-being of children
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Maintain knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers
  • Plan activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
Requirements
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 to $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
