Position Overview

As a Kitchen Helper at Spicy Garden Pho House Restaurant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment. Your contributions will ensure that our culinary team can focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and set tables.
  • Handle and replace linens as needed.
  • Sanitize kitchen items, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after service.
  • Load and organize buspans and trays for efficient use.
  • Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Store dishes in designated areas.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items manually.
  • Maintain records of food quantities utilized.
  • Portion and wrap food items for service.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness.
  • Utilize manual and electrical tools to prepare food items.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage properly.
  • Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to engage in repetitive activities.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Weight Handling
  • Must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
