Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked in a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a kitchen environment, which can be physically demanding and requires a high level of energy and stamina.
The working hours will be 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
The language of work will be English.
