Job Summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the import and export of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process shipments for export and import accounts, including preparation of export documentation and coordination with warehouses and forwarders.
  • Perform daily communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales reps, and warehouses.
  • Ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Partner with the Finance and Sales teams to resolve payment issues and credit issues.
  • Manage and oversee invoices for shipments and create customized packing lists as required.
  • Supervise the Warehouse Personnel and ensure they are receiving and processing incoming materials accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in import and export in a manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of letters of credit, bank guarantees, sight drafts, and financial instruments used in international business.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP and TMS systems.
  • Knowledge of INCOTERM and Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve and understand data.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize and follow-up as needed.
