MUCHO BURRITO MISSION is seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders and provide a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and sharpen kitchen knives.

Requirements: No degree, certificate or diploma is required, but experience is an asset. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions: The Food Counter Attendant will work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning products. The ideal candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language: The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work: 30 to 35 hours per week.
