Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and repairing tires to ensure the safety and efficiency of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install a variety of tires, including passenger, light truck, and commercial tires
  • Use computer diagnostics to balance tires and ensure proper alignment
  • Rotate tires to ensure even wear and extend tire life
  • Repair tires in a safe and efficient manner, using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintain tire service equipment, including tire changers and balancers
  • Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Understand and adhere to safe operation of all equipment

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related tire experience required
  • Automotive experience and knowledge of tire repair and maintenance
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
  • Excellent customer-service skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tire-related experience and knowledge of tire repair and maintenance
  • Mechanical understanding and ability to diagnose and repair complex tire issues
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
