About the Opportunity

Poppy & Peonies is seeking its first Marketing Director to lead and manage marketing operations. This role is a key milestone for the team, and the successful candidate will oversee marketing efforts and provide leadership to the existing team. The brand is poised for growth, and the Marketing Director will play a strategic role in driving this trajectory.

The Role
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the brand's vision and growth objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Enhance and maintain the brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee content creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • Lead the creative direction for all marketing materials, including photoshoots, videos, graphics, and written content.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing initiative performance, providing regular reports to senior leadership and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and growth.
What We're Looking For
  • A well-rounded marketer from the fashion or consumer products space with leadership experience.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and consumer products, with a keen eye for trends and aesthetics.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to develop compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience in managing and producing photoshoots and other creative outlets for product photography.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading successful marketing teams.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • A collaborative team player who can brainstorm with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
