We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 1731437 ALBERTA LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the construction of buildings and structures is carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and steel to construct building frameworks.
- Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and structures to ensure they remain safe and functional.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete building projects.
- Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
- Handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage a large workload.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Permanent employment with a regular 30-40 hour workweek.
- English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
