About the Role:

Framing carpenters play a crucial role in the construction process, responsible for building the structural framework of homes and buildings. At Super Homes, we are seeking a skilled and experienced framing carpenter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to construct the structural framework of buildings.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, ensuring accurate estimates and timelines.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in framing carpentry or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
