Community Health Facilitators Coordinator

The Northwest Employment Works is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Community Health Facilitators Coordinator. This role involves overseeing the management and coordination of the Community Wellbeing Facilitators program, providing strategic direction, supporting communication between CWFs, Health Directors, and SLFNHA, and facilitating training and workshops to build CWF capacity.
About the Role:
- Oversee, coordinate, and support the Community Wellbeing Facilitators program.
- Develop respectful and cooperative partnerships with Community Wellbeing Facilitators, Tribal Councils, and independent communities, Health Directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and monitor quarterly and annual activity and financial reporting for the Community Wellbeing Facilitators program.
- Organize quarterly meetings with CWFs and Health Directors to review program progress, address challenges, and enhance overall performance.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience deemed acceptable by Northwest Employment Works.
- At least one year of experience with a similar community-based project.
- Knowledge and sensitivity to the cultural and social context of northern and remote First Nations communities.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
