About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at UPattison Sign Group. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for forming materials, attaching letter faces, installing and wiring LED channel letters, and operating metal fabricating machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form material to precise specifications
  • Punch material using a Letter Lock
  • Attach letter face to the fabricated material
  • Install and wire LED channel letters on raceway
  • Operate metal fabricating machines, including shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch
  • Drill and rivet/bolt components together
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • Experience in channel letter fabrication is preferred
  • Experience with channel forming using a channel bender
  • Experience working with punch presses and shears is preferred
  • Experience working with various materials, including aluminum, sheet metal, and plastic
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints or construction drawings is preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
