Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Liquor Sales Associate to join our team at LIQUOR DISCOUNTER EDMONTON TRAIL. As a Liquor Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and operate a cash register.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the counter area, shelves, and stockroom.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and participate in promotional activities.
  • Adherence to Regulations: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and monitor all entrances and exits.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
