About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the position of Relief Full Time Mental Health Care Worker at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to patients in Surrey, B.C.
Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and is able to work effectively with others. You will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your ability to provide one-to-one personal care and observation of specific patients will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement activities, provide input and feedback on department initiatives, and maintain unit safety by reporting unsafe and hazardous conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Qualifications:
- Grade ten plus graduation from a recognized Mental Health Care Worker program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
