We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Professional Valve Service.

This is a permanent position, requiring the ability to work 40 hours per week.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions in various machinery parts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Detecting and troubleshooting mechanical issues with hydraulic systems, lathes, pumps, compressors, tool grinders, and welding equipment;
  • Repairing or replacing defective machinery parts;
  • Fabricating required parts during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up using machining tools;
  • Performing routine maintenance work on machinery;
  • Operating machining tools to fabricate parts;

Requirements:

  • Experience with hydraulic systems, lathes, pumps, compressors, tool grinders, and welding equipment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and with confined spaces;
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods;
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel;
