Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Southpoint Station Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the workload of sales associates, ensuring they are equipped to handle customer inquiries, process transactions, and maintain store appearance.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet our high standards of customer service and sales performance.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, minimize overtime, and maximize productivity.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met and they leave the store satisfied.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and sale of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Manage the work of office and volunteer staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide administrative support and maintain store appearance.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and pressure in a high-volume sales environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Tight Deadlines: Meet sales targets and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of customer service and store appearance.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure store appearance is maintained to a high standard.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform a variety of tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain energy and productivity.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers feel valued and supported.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of customer service.
- Organized: Manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines, ensuring exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a high level of reliability, punctuality, and attendance, ensuring the store is well-staffed and customer service is maintained to a high standard.
- Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain store appearance, and provide exceptional customer service.
